I am a PMP certified Contracts Manger holding Master of Science in construction management with major focus on risks in construction contracts and also have very good knowledge and strong experience in using FIDIC Forms of Contracts. I have nearly 16 years of diverse experience in management of construction projects (office and commercial buildings, residential, and industrial projects) particularly in fields of bidding documentation, contracts drafting, award and management, drafting correspondences, claims preparation and assessment, variations management, delay analysis, and risk management, encompassing positions in various corporates such as Mace For Project Management, Hill International, Orascom Construction and Mountain View For Development & Real state.

I have extensive experience in contract administration, settlement of claims, contracts closeouts.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK. I also published an article on contract risks at the American Society of Civil Engineer’s Journal of Legal Affairs and Disputes Resolution.

My work experience in contracts field is diverse and has been enriched as I took the position of contracts specialist at different environments and work models comprising subcontractor, main contractor, Project Management Consultants and Employer sides. In addition, I held managerial positions for couple of years and managed teams of engineers.

When we shed the light on training sessions, webinars and courses on construction contracts, I have been teaching and giving structured trainings since 2016. Also, I was invited several times to give presentations to the under-graduate students as a guest speaker at the credit hours’ construction program at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University and Helwan University (2018 and 2020).
